Ethical dolphin tour

In collaboration with African Impact

About the tour

Many tourists flock to Kizimkazi for the chance to swim with dolphins. Unfortunately, a lot of these encounters are highly unethical, causing stress to the dolphins and will ultimately push the dolphins out of their natural feeding area.

As of 2018 we have chosen to collaborate with African Impact who runs a Dolphin Conservation Program in Kizimkazi.

The program is aimed at investigating the impact of marine tourism, and gathering data to support the implementation of tourism policies that will protect the future dolphin population in the area. Additionally, the program is focused on ensuring a sustainable source of income for the local community.

Based on the gathered data, African Impact has created a training course for local boat drivers, which you can help to support by booking your dolphin tour with us.
