About the tour

On this snorkeling tour, you can explore the beauty of the famous Mnemba Atoll, the most popular dive site of Zanzibar. The tour starts from Matemwe, which is a 1.5 hour drive from Jambiani. 

Around Mnemba there are stunning aquarium-like conditions with crystal clear turquoise water and amazing visibility. If you are lucky, you can see turtles, which breed on the private island, dolphins and a large variety of colorful fish. 

Seasonally, whale sharks and humpback whales glide past.

During the tour you will get a chance to snorkel at two different locations. You can spend your time on the boat enjoying delicious snacks, fruits and a light traditional Swahili lunch.
